These are a couple of pieces we finished this past week, each going to their respective homes in Halifax. The colour of each one is so rich it reminded us of chocolate or even better, chocolate covered espresso beans! The grain of the wood is varied and interesting (pine on the table and birch on the dresser) and took the layers of stain deeply. This richness doesn’t come with factory produced furniture and that is why we are continually dedicated and passionate about our furniture, finishes and the wonderful homes they end up in. Thanks for shopping local!
When we named this furniture line “South Shore”, it brought to mind images of family cottages that are dotted around our beautiful coastline right here in Nova Scotia. These cottages are homes that have been passed down or have been built to resemble that passed down look. Hence this furniture line embodies that by having the classic lines and worn in perfection that will stand the test of time and can be passed down to future generations.
